Anyone know if a SATA 2 disk will work in a SATA 1 Motherboard?

I assume that you do not have a drive, or specifically the manual for one.

I only buy Seagate, but assume that others are similar.

They come with a jumper to change from sata 300 to sata 150 or they change automatically due to chipset compatibility.
