I wrote LSI asking this a while ago, but never received any reply. I'm running LSI OEM 9217-8i (Supermicro AOC-S2308L-L8e flashed to LSI 9207-8i). With this adapter I have been entirely missing a feature very important for me. None of the connected SATA drives have ever experienced idle spin down, aka. sleep mode. Other drives connected to motherboard do this accordingly.

I once read something about that this feature might've been dropped somewhere along the road with firmware progression. Is there any way to enable this behaviour with these cards, perhaps with an older fw? Although I reckon that would be inadvisable, especially with modern SSD drives running by the adapter. I currently have the latest P20 fw and using Windows 10 Pro x64. I appreciate any and all answers. I hate to see missing this feature.
