Now then ive got a k7n2delta (mobo) win2003 server

I have just bought another sata drive 500gb so now i hav 2 sata's and 1 ide the problem is I cant seem 2 get both sata's runnin at the same time ! it will only accept 1 as a stripe mode not both and I dnt want 1 set as mirror! now I kno these hard drives can be set as normal drives sum how and they dnt need 2 be set as raid so how do i get them both runnin at the same time as normal or both stripe if poss? is it my mobo/drivers or win drivers? or isit just unsupported by my mobo??? help plz ???????

With older Asus boards (not sure about MSI) every SATA drive must be added in RAID BIOS as a single-drive array for the OS to see it. If you already have one SATA drive, then you've got the driver installed, so adding a second should be as easy as entering the RAID BIOS (watch for prompt during POST: "press X+X to enter RAID setup" or something like that) then highlighting the new drive and creating a single-drive "array". Mine calls it a "0+1 stripe" although it is a single drive. The finished product should show (2) arrays.

Another possibility is a BIOS setting for the SATA controller needs to be changed from "RAID" to "use SATA as IDE" but I've found that only on newer boards.
