Do you need to set master and slave settings on SATA 3 drives? Thx in advanced for your input.

Slave and master jumpers went out with PATA EIDE devices. No SATA devices require master/slave jumpering to my knowledge. The jumpers are used to enable enterprise-class features like spread spectrum clocking, or power management options.
