Good Evening,
I have an NEC Electra Elite 192 that I am upgrading from T1 to PRI and wanted to save the current config using a MIFM card and the SAT 4.7 software. (MIFM has been configured from a display phone) When I run SAT, I enter PASSWORD on the first screen and select <=7000 and once in the software I press Communications, Direct Connection, Connect and the yellow and black plugs look like they're talking, and then under the two computer icons it says Password No Good. I have never seen a password set in this area before, never. Not sure if the VAR who installed this some years ago set one up. i have tried all the usual passwords, 12345, 11111, 00000, default, setup, tech, elite, nec, etc, etc.
I do have access to the MGR menu from a display phone, is there a place I can clear out this password so I can log in and save the config?
Also, I have installed SAT 4.7 on a laptop and a tower, running win xp on both, Com 1, 38.4, 8d/Np/1s, and have also tried Com 3 and other 8/N/1 settings, no dice.
(In case it helps, the System is v4.50, I will be installing a 9.7 CPU card.)
Thanks guys, I know someone will have a work around for this,
