SAS vs SQL Server 2005 dataset size

I am starting a SQL Server 2005 database project that involves replicating work currently done using large SAS datasets (20 - 30 GB total). Can I estimate the initial size of my SQL Server database using the size of the SAS datasets and perhaps some adjustment factor? Just looking for a ballpark estimate at this point. Thanks!
