Really dumb question time.

Do serially attached SCSI drives work in SCO 5.0.7.? Is there is difference other than Serial vs. Parallel?

It's all in the controller and whether or not there is a driver available for SCO 5.0.x. For instance, there are a few SATA-Raid drivers available, but not many. So you could say SCO is compatable with SATA drives, but only if they are attached to one of the few controllers for which there is a driver.
