Each time i start my computer i receive the following error message.....Cannot fond the file "iexplorer.exe' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required librariers are available....

After clicking OK, my internet explorer works perfectly fine. Also i have removed Internet explorer from startup.

ANy ideas would be greatly appreciated. Deklin

Some who run a batch file that cleans up at every startup suffer such problems...as the temp files are emptied on reboot...and in fact should only be emptied after several reboots...
I don't know if this is your problem...but it could just be a hiccup in the installation process that's causing it.

There's a setting in advanced in IE 6 to Enable 3rd party browser extensions...maybe it's checked...uncheck it.
You might also try emptying the Downloaded Program Files contents.

Do Start/Run/sysedit and look at Win.ini and all the other files there and look for the call to the program.
Remming it out might stop it.

Just to clarify something. Does the error say Iexplorer.exe with an r or is it Iexplore.exe with no r at the end? Iexplore.exe is internet explorer. Iexplorer.exe spelled with an r at the end is a trojan disguised as internet explorer. If it's Iexplorer.exe spelled with an r then get Moosoft's Cleaner which is free to try and run it. It's a trojan specific scanner.
