sar: Can't open /usr/adm/sa/sa15

Anyone every try to run "sar" and get this message?

The are a couple of reasons to get this message.

1- you are not root or don't have permissions to read the file

2- sar is not enabled so statistics are not being recorded

can you do something like: sar 5 5
to enable sar : /usr/lib/sa/sar_enable -y

It's not the logged statistics you're trying to look at?
(Perhaps those are stored under /var/adm/sa)

If so, you should use sar -o or sar -f to view them.
My guess is that it's not enabled though, as stan suggested. /Sören
 
You might want to load SarCheck from the skunkworks cd... nice utility to understand what sar is trying to tell you (AFTER you enable sar...)
