SAPSYS Terminal Logon

Hi everyone,

we noticed that sometimes the user SAPSYS logs on from a Terminal (PC) to the SAP System.
As we understand it the User SAPSYS is supposed to be the system itself.

So the question came up: How is it possible for the SAP system itself to log on from a (remote) Terminal ??

Next questions is: Sometimes whatever it is the user SAPSYS is trying to do when logging on from a terminal fails because he lacks some necessary rights. Any idea what's going on here ? How could this be explained ?
