SAPS Question

I have multiple T7316'(4) & T7208(3) phones over 1000' in distance from a BCM-50 KSU. Do I need to use a separate SAPS unit for each phone? In other words since I have 7 total phones over 1000' from the KSU do I need 7 SAPS?

You might try powering 2 phones per power supply as is done with KLM's (CAP's), but if you have operational problems you'll have to use one power supply per station.

So the SAPS only provides power needed for the phone? It does not regenerate the digital signal from the BCM-50?

It will boost/help/extend the digital signal.

Understood and that's what I thought. lugerlover's post confuses me. If I place the SAPS at the far end as he suggests I would assume it would be regenerating an already degraded signal.

it will work like a repeater...we used them on golf courses at far end..try it ,you may like it

Funny you mention that luger. That's exactly what I'm using them for. Extending stations on a golf course.
