I just purchased a sapphire radeon 9600 pro 256mb card, and I'm having trouble installing it in my computer. The monitor displays a "no signal input" upon startup with the video card installed.

My computer's specs are below:

AMD Athlon 1.67Ghz 512mb RAM
MoBo: ECS L7VMM
Power Supply: Antec 350W

I updated the bios for the mobo and the VIA chipset drivers (the Hyperion 4in1 thing at still no luck. I also tried running it with floppy and DVD-rom drive unattached to the power supply. I've also removed the drivers for the onboard video, and I believe I have it disabled. I'm not sure what else I can do... Maybe someone could tell me what to use in the bios settings?

Any help with getting this darn thing to run would be much appreciated.

Did you disable the onboard video in the BIOS?
Are you connecting your monitor to the new card?

Yeah, done all that. Except the onboard video can't be disabled in the bios. Actually have to do it through windows. Unfortunately, I still get no signal to monitor...

I had same problem with a Sapphire 9600 card - turned out the card was duff. Can you try it in another computer? Just to prove it does work.
