Hello,

We have a strange problem with our SAPGUI 6.20 client. Most of the time when we open several transaction-screens and we switch between them via the corresponding buttons in the task-bar, sapgui loses focus on this window. The button becomes greyed out and the Sapgui client seems to hang, resulting in an exessive CPU-usage. We can regain the focus by clicking on the window itself or sometimes by clicken the buttons in the task-bar in a specific order. We use Citrix and Powerfuse on a Windows 2003 server. Nevertheless when we run SAPGUI in an RDP session with powerfuse this problem does not occur, also when we use citrix without powerfuse sapgui runs normal.
It looks like Sapgui doesn't like the combination of Citrix and powerfuse. Then again when running powerfuse in windows-shell modus instead of powerfuse shell, sapgui works again without any problems. One last thing Sapgui also runs normal when enjoy-mode is turned off. Anybody having the same problem? Does sb know how sapgui works with focus on their windows, can this be changed or manipulated so it works correct on our servers?

Regards
Wim

Hi boein,

Did you ever find a resolution to this issue?

Hi,

We solved this problem long time ago. It was a problem with the Powerfuse version we were using, upgrading to a new release fixed our problem. Now we are using 7.01c. Also, when you use Powerfuse, you can also try this workaround. Instead of using the Powerfuse shell for your SAP-users, try the windows shell, this also seem to fix the problem. But it's alway better to upgrade to the latest version, also make sure your sapgui is updated to the latest patchlevel.

Good Luck

Wim
