Does anyone know if there is a concurrent limit of users that can have the sapsetup running from the SAP Installation Server? Version being upgraded is 6.20 to 6.40

That doesn't make much sense to me. Why would the contract with SAP dictate the concurrent installations that can occur with the SAP installation server which in reality has o connectivity back to the actual SAP application servers or database server?

I can see if the question was miss-read as connectivity to the application servers and not installation servers but in this case license validity has no relevance.

Anyhow in the time I posted this and now I've tested the installation servers and wasn't very impressed with them. The highest concurrent amount of installations I could maintain was only around 20 until there are either delay issues or problems from the services. To me that's not very expectable for an ERP deployment solution. In the long run I got the job done on a 1000+ upgrade to the GUI with a strategic time frame for machines to get the upgrade to the GUI.

Thanks
