SAP ports 1

Hi there,
do different SAP application use different IP port numbers? What i mean is, if i run (for example) eTravel and ePeople, is there a way to differentiate between the two by looking at the port number in IP packets?

Hi,

If your application servers are running on the same host ,
then they use different port number as the system numbers have to be different.
Usually sap gateway port numbers are :

3300 (i.e 33<system number> )
4800 (i.e 48<system number> )
