SAP Installation problem

Hi,

I am looking for a document witch explain SAP installation, I installed SQL server in my windows 2003 server, I have the SAP installation DVDs, but I don't know what can I do with, there is no setup or install file ..

What version 46b, 46d,2004 2004S, which app? ERP, SCM, BW ?

If it is 2004 or 2004S Look for the master installation, and find sapinst.exe. You must have Java 1.4.2_08 or better.

Yes ERP. I cannot located sapinst file.

I found sApinst in the netweaver DVD.I don 't know if I can use this for the erp installation ?

There is an installation document on the documents DVD.

for ecc6 you use Installation master for SAPnetweaver +erp 2005 cd

This is an install wizard it will prompt you for the other CD's

If you only have one DVD drive you may need to copy the required CD to disk because the installtion disk will be in the DVD drive.

Setup RAID on you drives first, then install SQL server.
Becareful with Java, you must have sap freindly version.(let the DVD tell you to install it)

also be careful on windows updates in your on a windows plattform
