SAP Database

Hi,

I'm contracting with a company that uses SAP. I am producing reports from the beginnings of a data warehouse populated with data from SAP.

I have not been able to get any documentation regarding the SAP database structure. Is this not available to users?

Is it not possible to access SAP databases from external applications?

Seems like everybody sees SAP as a black box.

Help me if you can I'm feelin dow-nnnnnnn.
