Hi Guy's

I am having problems with the Mercator ALE Adapter.
We are using Mercator 5.0 and I want to retrieve data from the SAP System (DEBMAS03 IDOC Type). I have given the command like this In the Input Card...

SourceAdapterCommand

-a MERCATOR -g 102.172.3.100 -x sapgw00

But this command is not working

So I want to know the command is correct or not and I want a sample example of getting data form SAP System

Thanq

Try using Mercator's Database Interface Designer. I have used this facility to connect to different types of databases for SAP, Peoplesoft, Lawson etc. You can create your own SQL select statements and the designer can create an input tree for you automatically.

Wat version of SAP? Which 5.0.? Do you have the SAP GUI installed and configured on your workstation. Add a -T and -ar3 to the command line and see what you get.

Did you create the tree via the IDOC importer?

BTW, 5.0 was sunsetted about 3 years ago.
