We will be going to Legato 7.3 with a new Sun v240 server, solaris 10. We would like to script a backup, separate from our other backups, to let us know, when the Oracle Database is done queiscing. Once that is done, the backup server, via a script, would execute commands from to access the Santricity software CLI. Which would then execute a clone or snapshop of the database. Then execute a command from the Legato backup server.

I was just wondering before embarking on writing the script on the backup server, is there a script that has been written that anyone already knows about that I could use for Solaris 10?
Any input would be appreciated.
