sandisk 9x?

if i where to get scandisk (from the 98 cd somewhere) cpuld i run it on my pro computer?

Open My Computer, right click on drive you want to scan. Select the tools tab and then click the Check Now button.
I don't know why but Microsoft decided to hide the xp equivilent of scandisk.

Since noone actually answered your question: NO, scandisk will not work on XP. It has chkdsk instead.

has fixed a lot of silly little problems for me.

atually its ok, somthing strange happened so i just restsrted and (i will call it sdisk) sdisk said windows done and oppsie (not in those words if corse) and sdisk will try to fix it, AIM was crossed over with a file and 3 others so it just fixed it and then i went on with my life. only took 5min to fix
