I have been unable to format a SanDisk 1GB SD card. I have Win7 XP Pro. I have uninstalled, reinstalled the drivers, moved the switch up & down 3 times and waited 30 seconds. Nothing has worked. I am unable to remove "read only" or format the card because it is always in lock position. Please help, Thanks in advance

move the switch to the unlocked position, what the heck is "moved the switch up and down 3 times, and waited 30 seconds supposed to do? You understand that the switch just holds a write enable line to ground? Move it to the other position and it will allow the write enable line to become active.
