Hi all. I have a new Solaris 10 box (m4000) that I want to hook up to my SAN (6320).
My questions are:

Do I need to install SAN Foundation software or is that included in Solaris 10 ?
Do I need to install Sun Storedge 6000 Host Software ?

Any help/tips would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Iain

The SAN pkg is included with Solaris 10. Only needed for Solaris 9.

The 6000 SW is for managing and configuring the RAID. You do need to install it on at least one machine for initial set-up of the RAID and you may want to use it for maintenance. You can use one install to manage several of your 6000 devices.
