Hi,

4 servers for the SAN configuration

2 servers on production network
2 servers on DMZ network

one of the server from production will be primary and the other one as member server

2 servers on DMZ will b member server

arcserve database will be on primary server

database cannot be accessed by DMZ member server(files on production cannot be accessed by DMZ servers

will this setup work

Any suggestion would be appreciated

Thanks

Nick

Short answer 'No' If the member servers cannot access a central db on the primary then your media pools/retention are useless.

Plus the SAN Primary and distributeds need to be able to communicate to negotiate device locks so you need to consider this on the SAN zoning side too.
