SAN performance question

Hello,

Can someone tel me what gives a better performance:

A SAN array (HP MSA1000) with : Redundant RAID controller with both 256MB cache and 17 disk 15K / 72GB
or
A SAN array (HP MSA1000) with : Redundant RAID controller with both 512MB cache and 17 disk 10K / 72GB

please motivate

I would say "A SAN array (HP MSA1000) with : Redundant RAID controller with both 512MB cache and 17 disk 10K / 72GB".

The reason I would say this is because the extra cache will allow data to be available more often. Once the data is placed in cache it will be able to return faster.
