OK, Let me prface this as I'm relatively new to the arcserve game but I've taken over a nightmare which I am trying to take control of.
I have a cross platform san configuration with a netware primary 11.1(S1), a windows primary 11.5 (S2) and a windows secondary 11.5 (S2). I am not using a GFS rotation, in fact i don't know if that is even relavent.
I want to have 3 pools of tapes so that S1 doesn't overwrite tapes meant for S2, so on, and so forth.....
do I create 3 new pools? whats the point of the ELO pool?
