Does anyone know what the USB port on the back of the Samsung SyncMaster 757dfx is for?

It's been bugging me for some time and i can't find any explanation anywhere.

From what I could find, it appears there is a USB hub option for your monitor.

connect the monitor usb port to the pc usb port,install Samsung mouse screen software,and the monitor settings can be adjusted with the mouse instead of the buttons on the front of monitor
