Samsung OS7030 - No CO Disconnect coming from provider

Hello All,

I am having a particularly tough time trying to figure out the CO Disconnect Supervision options for the Samsung OS7030. I have just discovered that our Telco provider (a local cable company) does not provide the disconnect supervision code/signal. The result is that once a caller has been answered by the AA, should that caller hang up, the system keeps the line open. The call gets cycled through all of the AA options and eventually reaches the operator group. If that call is answered, there is either dead air or a busy tone. I am working with the provider to see if there is something that they can do, but require a solution if they can't.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

If you are talking about analogue lines, then the 7030 doesn't play nicely with them. Your best bet is to find what the disconnect clear timers are set to by the telco, and set the system to match.
 
there is also a setting in the system to detect line disconnect supervision signal ... sorry its been that long i cant remember what mmc it is/

Any chase you can post the Co Supervision Timer value that worked? I am having the same issue with Comcast and the Arris phone line modem they provided.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the late update and thank you for the replies. I am returning to site this afternoon and will follow-up with the suggested resolutions. The supplier has not given me their settings as yet, so I'll be doing some trial and error.
