We have a client that we have had to install 2 systems at, an OS7100 and a OS7030. The reason for this is the network cablers decided it be best to use 2 cabinets instead of the 1 on the original plans, they are linked via a fibre patch.

I have set up SPNET on both systems and all is working fine, unless the call is over 10 minutes, then the trouble starts. Doesn't matter if its internal or external.

Does anyone have any ideas on this.

Both systems are version 4.9x

Are you using DS phones or IP phones? are both pbx boxes on the same network scheme? if so, Spnet may not be necessary. Spnet is mainly for linking 2 systems over different providers or different locations that arent linked via fiber or VPN.

They are DS Phones.

Both systems are on the same subnet yes, but over 2 cabinets linked via fiber.

Via the internet, ping needs to be enabled between systems. Do they have a firewall/router between them?
