I have some coworkers in the UNited Kingdom, who are trying to connect an NEC DM system with a QSIG connection to thier existing Samsung DCS Gateway switches. They can make calls now from the NEC to the Samsung, however can't make calls from the Samsung to the NEC DM yet. They couldn't get the QSIG to work at first, so the connection they make from the NEC to the Samsung is over an ISDN set-up route.
Does anyone out there have any system manuals on the Samsung DCS Gateway? Anyone run into this situation before?
Seems they have their settings messed up on the Route Data or the way they set up the trunk on the Samsung side. However I am an NEC person, not Samsung. Any data or tips on what to do would be appreciated. I have experienced the NEC systems to be able to make a connection to very old NEC systems mixed with the newest over CCIS and it works great. So they must be doing something wrong on the Samsung side that the two can't talk to one another.
Thanks for any help on this.
