I had been happily referring to the dentry example in the Gallery for a period of weeks. All the samples worked great and as near as I could tell I never "modified" the files. Today when I tried to browse the examples I got the 800A0bb9 error with some words about Arguments are of the wrong type.... I tried moving the local and master versions of the Gallery to the recycle bin and reinstalling with the wizard.... same result. The only thing I can think of as different is that I installed SP3 for Win2K. Anyone else seen this problem?... In the meantime I will stumble off to see if I can get some help with my optiongroup DTC which is acting wonky.

I found the answer to my question at the msn site.... the key was reformatting the error message code. Short answer is to set the folder containing the global.asa file to be an application. This is done in the mmc for IIs The tech paper is Q197323. Maybe this posting will help someone else... if not, my apologies for wasting the space.

When you got this error, was it happening all the time? I am getting this same error and it only happens once in a while. Sometimes it works fine and other times it give me the error. I had already check out the article that you referenced, but it doesn't talk about it occuring off and on.

Thanks.
