I am kinda new in access, I am trying to create a form wherein if a enter a name, it checks my table, and tells me if it exist.

Please suggest me a site where I can get sample access applications.

thanks

When you install Office one of the optional components is a couple of sample databases. By default they end up in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Samples. You might look there. If they didn't get installed you could re-install Office.

Northwind sample DB has validate macro that will do exactly what you want
