Running NAVCE 7.5. I've got 4 users who show up with a virus every time they get a new definition update. Each user has a different virus or worm, but each update finds the same virus that was reported by the last update.

The System Center says that the files cannot be found to delete, fix, or quarantine. I have followed the appropriate instructions from Symantec on the removal of each virus. I have deleted the users Temp. Internet files and all files in ANY temp directory.

Subsequent scans show no virus. Then a new definition comes along and the virus is reported again.

Can somebody buy me a clue? Thanks in advance.

Go to their workstation open up the av client and delete everything in the quarantine.

When I try that, Norton reports "Norton Antivirus cannot perform this action on one of the files you selected." Just like it does when I try it from the SSC.

Thanks, I'll try deleting their log files and see what happens.
