Same Number for Shortcode and Extension

Hello,

Scenario: Internal call to boss should be diverted to a Huntgroup. VIP Numbers should be able to call the boss.

How can i do this?

Set Do not disturb with exceptions.
You need vmpro for this.

When DND is turned on the callers will go to voicemail.
In VMPro send callers to a transfer and set the gorup you want.
VIP numbers must be configured as DND exceptions.

Se tthe boss' telephone on divert all to the group.
give the VIP users a shortcode something like :

SC = #XXX
TN = N
action = DialExtensionByNumber

If the phonenumber of the boss is lets say 301 then anyone dialling 301 goes to that group.
If a VIP user dials #301 the extension 301 will ring in spite of any diversion, DND or waht ever.
You can also route incoming calls with known CLI to that shortcode so the boss can let all his maitresses cal him directly ( not his wife of course _
