We have a 4-NT server/ 125- win98 user environment. We have one SCO-unix box for factory data. We recently installed SCOVision 3.0 to have easier access to the SCO box. The SCO icon now shows up in EVERY workgroup (once). I get netbios errors in the error log and we have semi-frequent netbios difficulties.
1. How do I fix this ?
2. How did this happen. I was to understand every netbios name is unique

TIA

I have messed around with SCOVision several times and never could get it working clean, have seen the very problem you are describing. The solution I have come up with is to use Windows Services for Unix about $150.00 US this allowes among many handy Unix Services like password synchronization and many others also give you a very good NFS Gateway when set up you can establish a NFS mount on a NT server and then Create a share just like any other drive your users then just map to the "shared drive" on the NT Server works well and is less confusing to users.
