lets say i want a leaf falling through my movie in the background....is it possible to just make one instance of the movie and have it fall from random places from the top of the movie for an indeffinte time....if possible please explain what you are doing since i have never had any experience with programming so it's so very foreign to me

What you want to do envolves numerous duplicating of a movie clip of one single leaf falling or one snow crystal.
