I've got WP8 installed on WXP and W98. The same document prints differently on each machine.

I appears that there is a differecne in the spaces between the lines of text. The text itself seems to match up OK.

They are both using the same printer drivers and same fonts, etc.

Try checking the don't use printer metrics option in WordPerfect. In WP 9 it is under Tools - Settings - Convert, I am not sure anymore if WP8 is the same or not.

I figured out it was using different line spacing. Both machines were set to "automatic", but they were different spacings. I changed the XP to 'fixed' and set it to what the W98 was and everything was OK.

Would the 'metrics' setting affect this?

According to WP9 help, WP uses printer metrics to determine line endings.
