Can Any one help me about it?
when I make binary abinary it runs well with say "X" name but when i move the same file to say "Y" name it results in the core dump ? I am working on Solaris 2.6

Not sure, but it could be something to do with compilation rules? Have you tried linking the two names, rather than moving one to the other? Will a diff work on binaries? Sorry - more questions than answers, but hope something here helps. Cheers.

Yeah I have done that too ...but still it gave segmentation fault even giving name of ececutible while linking.
