i have problem with my samba server...i cannot see samba server (bonggo) from my pc client (nadiah)
this is my smb.conf
[global]
workgroup = sayang
server string = Samba SMB Server
interfaces = 10.100.4.148/255.255.255.0 127.0.0.1
bind interfaces only = yes
log file = /usr/local/samba/var/log.%m
max log size = 50
time server = yes
os level = 65
preferred master = yes
dns proxy = no
domain master = yes
wins support = yes
guest account = smbusers
hide dot files = no
security = share
# ssl CA certFile = usr/share/ssl/certs/ca-bundle.crt
encrypt passwords = yes
smb passwd file = /etc/samba/smbpasswd

please help me coz i have stuck to this level for one week

 
Try commenting out these lines...

interfaces = 10.100.4.148/255.255.255.0 127.0.0.1
bind interfaces only = yes
wins support = yes
os level = 65
preferred master = yes
time server = yes
dns proxy = no


You may want some of these features, but lets get Samba working first and then we'll go from there. Make sure that the "workgroup = sayang" is the same workgroup that your Windoze clients are using. Restart the Samba services.

By the way, your share has no path to it...
