Samba Version. How can I tell? 2

Need to know how to tell what version of samba is running with LINUX RH7. Can anyone help? James Collins

Hi,

Assuming you installed it from a redhat rpm :

/usr/sbin/smbd -V

or

rpm -qi samba (Although that is really the rpm version which would not always be the same as the package version if that makes sense !)
