Hi folks!
I'm moving to a heteregenous environment soon,
and I'm in charge of the engineering group workstations.
I'm testing Samba as a solution to let WXP boxes get
to my (normally NFS) shares on my solaris server.
Does anyone have experience with say 15 clients pulling
large amounts of files off of Solaris running Samba ?
I've got one box I'm testing with and things look pretty good, but does anyone have tips on tuning Samba so that
there is no lag time when a connection re-activates?
Anyone ever heard of Samba corrupting files?
Thanks in advance for anyone who can share some information...
Chris
