SMB connection failed
[root@Bravo root]#

any ideas why this isnt working?

Hi,

Is it any different if you do :

mount -o username=whatever,password=whatever,ip=192.168.0.100 -t smbfs //anyname/d/ /mnt/aaron/

(i.e. just make up a server name but specify the IP address in the options)

'Called name' refers to the target netbiosname which it seems not to like.

Another Question.

Can i only mount one share at a time?? I got one share to mount, but when i try to mount another it says:

timeout connecting to 192.168.0.100:139
15952: Connection to delta failed
SMB connection failed
