Good morning

I have a number of samba shares set up on a linux server, all are accesible from windows boxes. I have just added another share which is identical to the others but I can't browse to it from windows boxes.

testparm shows that it is shared out.

Any clues about what is doing wrong.

Thanks

Alan

Try map network drive from windows and see if the shares are all listed.

I can map to all shares except the one I just created.

Does it appear in net view \\computername from the Windows commandline?

Annihilannic.

Thanks all for your help, it was a permission problem on a directory. It was a samba share of an NFS mount.
