Ok, Im setting up a new PDC but the old one must stay online. So Im adding some new features in the new one that I want to test out so I call the new domain "TEST". Once I get the new domain up, I shut down the old PDC briefly and add myself to the new domain "TEST". Then I reboot my XP machine and have 0 connectivity. I cant log onto the domain so I then log into my machine locally and still no connectivity. Cant reach the DHCP server and the static IP I give myself does not work. Once I leave the domain and join the old one it works. Any ideas?

Is the "TEST" PDC also operating as a DHCP server? First, check the basic stuff, like cable connections etc. Did you do a DHCP release/renew on your XP system?
