Samba - NTLM or NTLMv2

If you setup authentication part of smb.conf like this
----------
lanman auth = no
ntlm auth = yes
client NTLMv2 = yes
client lanman = no
client plaintext auth = no
----------

Which authentication is in charge NTLM or NTLMv2?

Sorry, didn't post most important part.

Server: Samba 3.0.10 (PDC)
Client: WinXPPro SP2

passdb backend = smbpasswd
