Help urgently required.
I have been attempting for ages to set up a small NT/Linux system to print from Linux to a printer attached to an NT PC. I have set up Samba and am able to file share but whenever I try to print I get the following log message
server= slave; service= nec; username= cfs; password= ******
added interface ip=192.168.0.1 bcast=192.168.0.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Domain=[WORKGROUP] OS=[Windows NT 4.0] Server=[NT LAN Manager 4.0]
smb: \> ERRDOS - ERRbadaccess (Invalid open mode.) opening remote file stdin-2264
smb: \> server: command not found
smb: \> service: command not found
smb: \> username: command not found
smb: \> password: command not found
smb: \>
The printer is set up in the smb.conf file to run smbprint and I can see the print share when I run net view from the PC.
The NT PC is called slave with an NEC P6 printer attached.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
