I have a problem with Linux Red Hat 7.3 and Samba. If I connect a Windows9x box, join a domain and logon the script runs OK. I can join the domain with the WindowsXP box but when I log on the script doesn't run (same username). I can see the netlogon share and if I run the batch file by double clicking it in explorer I end up with all the network drives.

Can anyone help??

This link has all the info you need for joining an XP-PRO box to a samba server. If you are running XP-HOME, then you are not going to be able to accomplish this, as XP-HOME does not support domain logons.

Hope this helps
