Samba Installation

Hi,

I want to share my DAT Drive on Win 2000 server with Solaris Machine. I downloaded Samba latest tar GZ file but when i give the command Gunzip <Filename>, it gives me an error saying Invalid compressed data -- Format violated.

Could you please let me know whether i am downloading the actual file and how to Uncompress it.

Sounds like there may have been an ASCII transfer done somewhere along the line. Is this possible?
