Samba File Move Problem

We have a Samaba share set up on a Windows 2000 Server box and are able to browse the share with ease. We are trying to move files from the Samaba share to the windows drive. When we run a batch to move them the move completes but the final removal of the files from the Samba share do not happen. When you try and delete the files from the Samba share you get this error: The mounted file system does not support extended file attributes. Any ideas on what I can try?
