Samba errors.

I've installed Red Hat 8.0 with sucess. I created my smb.conf ..When I type smbstatus I'm receiving the following message:
Failed to open byte range locking database
error: Failed to initialize locking database
can't initialize locking module

Does anyone know how can I solve this matter?

That's correct if no client is connected.
Just run smbstatus with either -b or -S options if you don't want to see
the error message.
