Samba CPU utilisation

I do not know if these are linked byt since I upgraded to Samba 2.2.7-4.8.0 I have noticed that CPU utilisation for "smbd" is regularly at about 40%-45% even when there is absolutely NO activity on the Samba server (i.e. No Connections active at all). Has anyone else seen this?

Please ignore this. I found out what it was. It was a PC on the network running McAfee VirusScan. The alogserv.exe process was going crazy and doing 100's of I/O's a second to a mapped drive on the Samba server.
